The role Are you passionate about making a difference for First Nations communities? Join our team at the Bradfield Development Authority and partner with the Manager, Aboriginal Outcomes to provide high -quality, expert vision, advice, and leadership across the organisation. You will collaborate with various teams to create an inclusive culture and build capacity to engage with First Nations communities, contributing to improved outcomes for First Nations peoples. As a Senior Project Officer, you will undertake research, analysis, and review of complex policy issues, develop evidence-based options and strategies, and provide expert advice to inform stakeholders and support policy directions. You will also develop and implement strategies for monitoring and evaluating policy initiatives, facilitate stakeholder engagement, and represent the agency in various forums to ensure consistency with government policy and legislative requirements. This is an Aboriginal Identified role where Aboriginal identity, cultural knowledge or connections are a genuine aspect of the role. Expertise in dealing with complex and sensitive consultations with diverse stakeholders. Delivering collaborative outcomes within agreed timelines. Skills in identifying issues and managing interdependencies to deliver project, program, and organizational objectives. Proficiency in providing expert advice and contributing to decision-making processes. Capability to foster effective relationships with stakeholders to provide advice, exchange information. Using initiative and be accountable for delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget. Applying critical-thinking techniques to analyse information, identify interrelationships, and make evidence-based recommendations. What is an essential requirement: Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline and/or demonstrated equivalent industry or professional experience in the relevant area This is an Identified role under the Section 14d of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977 and as such Aboriginality is an essential requirement of the role.
