We are seeking a reliable and experienced Roofer to install, repair, and maintain roofing systems on residential and commercial properties. You'll work with a variety of materials including shingles, metal, tile, slate, and flat roofing systems, ensuring high-quality, watertight finishes that meet all safety and building standards.
Position: Roofer
Location: Belfast
Duration: Temporary to Permanent
Pay Rate: £17.50 per hour
Hours of work: Monday to Friday 8am to 4:30pm (on call once every 8 weeks with additional payments)

Key Responsibilities include:
* Installing, repairing, and replacing roofing systems
* Inspecting roofs for damage, leaks, and structural issues
* Removing old roofing materials and preparing surfaces
* Measuring, cutting, and fitting materials accurately
* Installing flashing, underlayment, and weatherproofing systems
* Ensuring all work complies with building codes
* Following strict safety procedures and using protective equipment
* Maintaining tools, equipment, and a clean worksite
* Communicating effectively with supervisors, colleagues, and customers

* Outdoor work in various weather conditions
* Physically demanding tasks including lifting, climbing, and standing for long periods
Essential Criteria:
* Valid driver's license
* Roofing certification or apprenticeship is a plus
* Proven experience as a Roofer or in a similar construction role
* Knowledge of roofing materials, techniques, and tools
* Ability to work at heights and in varying weather conditions
* Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
* Understanding of safety regulations and procedures
