REMOTE ROLE ACCEPTING APPLICANTS NATIONWIDE
We are seeking a qualified Engineering Instructor to deliver high-quality teaching and learning across various levels (Level 2 - Level 4) within the Engineering Curriculum Qualifications. The primary focus will be on delivering Level 3 subjects, such as Mechanical Principles, Fabrication & Welding, and Electrical Principles.
Main Duties:
1. Teach and assess using a blended learning approach, including classroom, workshop, and live online tutorials for Engineering Apprenticeships and courses.
2. Take responsibility for specific curriculum areas.
3. Provide support and guidance to learners.
4. Collaborate effectively as part of the Curriculum Team and with other departments.
5. Carry out administrative duties such as maintaining registers, schemes of work, assessments, reports, and course records within deadlines.
6. Ensure safe working practices are observed by yourself and learners.
7. Provide reports and returns as required by management.
8. Assist in learner recruitment, interviews, and enrolments.
9. Develop curriculum support materials.
10. Organize and monitor work experience placements and industrial liaison.
11. Uphold principles of equality and diversity.
12. Maintain plant and machinery where feasible.
Additional Duties:
1. Adhere to Health & Safety and Safeguarding procedures.
2. Promote equality and diversity, acting as a role model.
3. Participate in staff development, including mandatory safeguarding training.
