Southhouse Autism Unit Support Workers
Earn up to £23,150.16 per year pro rata
Full time & Part time contracts available
Southhouse Autism Unit supports 3 people across 2 flats within the same cul-de-sac. The supported individuals enjoy activities like football and trampolining. The focus is on helping them develop life skills and engage with the community.
Good bus links are nearby, with Lothian bus numbers 7, 11 & 400 about a 4-minute walk, and buses 37 & 47 about 8 minutes away.
Shifts are typically 10 or 12 hours, allowing for fewer working days and more days off. All roles include sleepover shifts, which involve working from 10am-11pm, sleeping over from 11pm-7am, then working from 7am-10:30am. Sleepovers are paid an additional £96.00.
Our established team will support you in this role, ideal for those starting in care. If you're creative and enjoy activities, you'll find this role rewarding.
Your main duties include:
* Supporting vulnerable people as part of a team
