About the Role:
Are you a detail-oriented finance professional with experience using Xero and working in a busy account's environment? We're looking for a confident, proactive Finance Administrator to join our team and support the financial operations of our growing business.
You will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our day-to-day financial processes. The role combines core finance administrative duties with broader responsibilities, giving you a real opportunity to grow within the position and develop your career. While we understand you may not have experience in every area listed, we are happy to provide training to the right candidate who has a solid foundation in finance.
Key Responsibilities (not exhaustive):
General Finance Administration
* Manage Purchase Ledger
* Manage Credit Control
Accounts Payable & Payroll Support
* Process supplier payments each month
* Assist in processing monthly salaries
* Manage subcontractor accounts and process payments
* Manage and Submit PAYE information
Client Invoicing & Ad Hoc Duties
* Raise client invoices as requested by the project team
* Reconcile bank accounts
* Support the Finance Director with ad hoc payments and finance-related tasks
What We're Looking For:
* At least 2 years of experience in a finance or accounts-based role
* Strong working knowledge of Xero accounting software
* Good Excel skills and general IT proficiency
* High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
* Confident communicator who can work independently and within a team
* Experience with construction finance or working in a subcontractor environment is a bonus
