Job Description
Teaching Personnel is seeking a passionate SEN Support Assistant to support children with special educational needs at a primary SEN school in Preston. This full-time role offers a temp-to-perm opportunity, with an immediate start.
The school is dedicated to providing an inclusive environment where children with diverse learning needs can thrive. The role involves working closely with teachers and therapists to support children with autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and other complex needs.
Responsibilities
* Supporting pupils' learning, development, and emotional well-being
* Assisting in creating an engaging, inclusive classroom environment
* Providing one-to-one and small group support
* Encouraging independence and confidence among pupils
* Collaborating with teachers, SENCOs, and other professionals
Candidate Requirements
* Experience working with children with SEN (preferred but not essential)
* Patience, caring attitude, and positivity
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Willingness to learn and adapt
