About The Role
We are seeking a Group Housekeeping Manager to play a key role in delivering exceptional service standards and ensuring the smooth daily operations of the housekeeping department across the East Kent Colleges Group.
You will be responsible for managing and developing cleaning schedules across multiple college sites, maintaining consistent standards, and ensuring optimum environments for learning and working. This includes overseeing quality assurance, managing supplier relationships, controlling budgets for consumables, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
As a line manager to a team of cleaning supervisors, you will provide effective leadership, manage staff performance and absences, and support ongoing training and development.

About You
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for a strong leader with:
* Experience in cleaning or soft services management across large/multi-site operations
* Proven ability to implement effective cleaning schedules and drive continuous improvement
* Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills
* Knowledge of COSHH and BICSc standards
* Strong IT skills (especially in Outlook and Excel)
* A commitment to safeguarding, inclusivity, and sustainability
