* Develop and maintain software for robotic systems and automated test equipment
* Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimise manufacturing processes
* Evaluate new and existing production lines to identify improvements to manufacturing processes, analytical requirements, and equipment; advise appropriate engineering personnel on manufacturability, process robustness, and equipment requirements
* Ensure the smooth transition of new products into manufacturing (NPI)
* Document software architecture, code, and system configurations
Key skills and experience required for the Manufacturing Engineer job:
* Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering / HND / Electrical or Electronic Engineering, or related industry qualification
* Experience in production engineering
* Strong knowledge of manufacturing engineering relating to Electronics, Software, and Automation
* Familiarity with PLC programming and SCADA systems
