Working Pattern: Full Time 37 hours per week Monday to Friday

About the Role:
As a Strategy Delivery Officer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner (OPCC) with strategic planning and continuous improvement projects. Your keen organisational skills and proactive approach will be instrumental in delivering key initiatives that make a real difference in your community.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Head of Strategic Planning to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of OPCC projects and processes.
Conduct early research and scoping for the OPCC Strategic Delivery Plan.
Attend internal meetings to provide updates on project progress.
Offer administrative support, coordinating team documents and drafting essential project materials.
Coordinate the Community Fund, overseeing application processes, timelines, and communication with applicants.
Assist with research to inform the drafting of public-facing strategy documents aligned with the Police and Crime Plan (2024-2029).
What We’re Looking For:
To thrive in this role, you should possess:
A good standard of secondary education, including English and Maths (GCSE or equivalent).
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing demands and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in IT, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of adapting to diverse audiences.
A full UK driving licence is essential, as travel across the local force area is required.
Experience in leading continuous improvement projects is a plus!
