Our school seeks a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Start Club Assistant to help ensure that pupils begin their day positively and securely.
As an Early Start Club Assistant, your responsibilities will include supervising and engaging with pupils in the hall or playground, setting up and clearing the room, and assisting with breakfast service.
You will support pupils in developing independence, encourage good behavior, and provide comfort for minor accidents or upsets.
A warm, approachable manner and the ability to promote the school’s positive ethos are essential qualities.
Key experience includes working with children and strong communication skills.
Requirements
This role is considered Regulated Work with Children under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007, and membership with the PVG scheme is required. Further details can be found here.
Preferred applicants will need to become members of the PVG scheme or undergo an update check before a formal offer is made.
