Description Sexton’s Manor Primary School Address: Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk IP33 3HG Salary: £24,413 per annum pro rata, £12.65 per hour, Grade 2 point 2 Hours: 20 hours per week, term time only Contract: Permanent, required from September 2025 Reference: 7733 We are looking for a friendly, reliable and highly organised Administration Assistant to join our warm and welcoming school office team at Sexton’s Manor Primary School Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk. Sexton’s Manor is part of All Saints Schools Trust, a group of 15 successful schools sharing expertise and resources. This powerful collaboration provides excellent continued professional development and career prospects. This is a key role in the daily life of our busy and vibrant primary school. You will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, so excellent communication skills, a professional manner and a friendly, approachable nature are essential. You’ll need to be confident using a range of IT systems and office equipment, be able to prioritise tasks effectively, and have strong attention to detail. The role involves a wide variety of administrative and financial duties – including processing payments, maintaining accurate records, handling confidential information, and supporting the smooth running of clubs and school events. You will: be efficient, flexible, proactive and take pride in your work be able to work both independently and as part of a team have good literacy, numeracy skills (GCSE English and Maths grade C or above or equivalent) demonstrate knowledge of Microsoft Office and other IT software be able to manage multiple tasks and remain calm under pressure have a good understanding of confidentiality and safeguarding have previous experience in a school office or administrative setting is desirable, but not essential – full training and support will be provided.
