We are seeking a hardworking and experienced Administrator to support our growing team, with a particular focus on recruitment, HR and the launch of our new training school.
This is a varied and rewarding role at the heart of our business. You will play a key part in leading recruitment activities, supporting day-to-day HR administration and assisting with the coordination and administration of our upcoming training provision.
The Role
As People Administrator you will:
* Lead all recruitment activity, including advertising, interviewing, onboarding, induction, screening and vetting in line with BS 7858
* Manage and maintain accurate and confidential personnel records
* Support resource planning to help ensure effective shift coverage
* Provide diary management and administrative support for meetings
* Work closely with managers to support team communications, asset management and uniform provision
* Maintain online and paper filing systems, including archiving and secure disposal of documentation
* Support compliance with industry standards and internal management systems
* Provide administrative support to our new training school, including course coordination, learner records and communication with candidates
This role is primarily office based, with occasional opportunities for home working.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
* Has recruitment experience and strong HR administration skills
* Demonstrates excellent communication, organisational and time management abilities
* Has strong interpersonal skills and is confident speaking on the phone
* Is proactive, detail oriented and comfortable taking meeting notes or dictation
* Is IT literate, proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and able to quickly learn new systems
* Is a strong team player, friendly, good humoured and compassionate
* Can work to deadlines and remain calm under pressure
* Is willing to support other areas of the business as we continue to grow
