IT Operations Engineer (Contract) – Southampton – £160–£180 per day (Inside IR35) Rolling Contract | On-site | Immediate Start We’re looking for an experienced IT Support Engineer to join a leading brand’s Southampton office. This is a great opportunity for an IT support professional who enjoys hands-on work, problem-solving, and keeping tech running smoothly in a busy, high-energy environment. The role: Provide daily IT support to office staff (desktops, laptops, mobile devices, Wi-Fi, printers, AV equipment) Set up and configure Windows and Mac devices Troubleshoot and maintain office networks and hardware Act as the first point of escalation for tech issues Support small tech projects and office fit-outs/upgrades Work closely with wider technology teams across Europe What we’re looking for: 3 years’ experience in a similar IT support / TechOps role Confident supporting Windows 10, Mac OS, and iOS devices Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, networks, and AV setups Microsoft, Cisco, or equivalent certifications (e.g., MCSA, CCNA) are a plus; Familiar with basic networking (Wi-Fi, patch panels, cabling) Great communication skills — able to explain technical issues simply Organised, proactive, and a real team player Familiar with project management principles and ITIL practices Experience with Agile ways of working and tools such as Jira (bonus) What’s on offer: On-site role in a central Southampton location Collaborative, supportive team environment Opportunities to get involved with tech projects and upgrades
