This is a Monday to Friday day role, offering an excellent opportunity for career development.
The Opportunity
* Ensure Teva Larne Engineering Systems, Procedures, Documentation, Facilities, and Equipment are maintained and operational.
* Plan, direct, and coordinate activities related to design, construction, modification, and maintenance of equipment and machinery.
* Establish standards and policies for pollution control, installation, modification, quality control, testing, operating procedures, inspection, and maintenance, in line with engineering principles and safety regulations.
* Manage maintenance of plant, buildings, and equipment; coordinate new designs, surveys, and maintenance schedules.
* Test new machines and equipment to ensure they meet contract specifications.
* Undertake additional duties as assigned by Senior Management.
* Create and organize preventive maintenance, calibration, and non-routine maintenance records on computerized asset management systems.
* Organize internal and external contractor-led preventive maintenance and calibration.
* Monitor site Building Management System.
* Procure additional plant and equipment, including creating/reviewing qualification documentation and sourcing suppliers.
* Conduct risk assessments for engineering and site health and safety.
* Support the Site Health and Safety committee, perform safety inspections and audits, and review risk assessments.
* Maintain engineering SOPs.
* Raise CAPAs, CCRs, and DRs; liaise with departments to ensure cGMP compliance.
* Implement safe systems of work; ensure personnel safety and environmental protection.
* Maintain documentation for FDA, MHRA, and audit compliance.
Who We Are Looking For
Are you...
* Educated to HNC level or above (preferred).
Do you have?
* Practical experience in engineering within a highly regulated manufacturing environment.
* GMP environment experience.
* Knowledge of project management, health & safety, and fault finding techniques.
* Proven IT skills (e.g., Microsoft Office).
* Strong communication skills.
* High standards of work, attention to detail, and a right-first-time approach.
* Self-motivation and ability to work independently.
* Proactive approach and ability to work under time constraints.
* Teamwork and interpersonal skills.
* Flexible to changing priorities and willing to participate in an on-call rota.
