Meet the Client:
Our client is a gentleman in his late fifties with an acquired brain injury who is a wheelchair user. He has a friendly dog he loves to take out on walks. He enjoys cooking, baking, listening to 60s, 70s & 80s music, and watching TV, especially David Attenborough documentaries and action movies. He has also created paintings and drawings displayed in his home. He has a great sense of humor and is looking for Support Workers to share some laughs!
About the role:
The successful candidate will support our client's journey with brain injury by understanding his goals, addressing challenges, and fostering effective communication to meet his specific needs. Experience with acquired brain injury is advantageous.
You will assist with personal care, moving and handling, medication, and enabling him to lead an independent life. Day staff must hold a full UK driver’s license to drive his vehicle for community outings.
Full training, shadow shifts, and ongoing support will be provided.
When you'll be working:
* Day (8am-8pm) and Waking Night (8pm-8am) shifts available
* Full-time (36-48 hours) and Part-time (24 hours) options, depending on your availability
* Contracted hours available (36 hours/week)
