As a Treasury Accountant, you will have responsibility for reporting both internally and externally for all areas of treasury including foreign exchange, interest, cash and intercompany funding.
You will be preparing cash forecasts and manage short term cash requirements. You will be ensuring financial records are accurate and up to date while ensuring compliance with Treasury policies and the timely completion of key SOX controls for the department.
Key to this role will be identifying process improvements and streamlining these across all companies.
Skills & Knowledge • Minimum 4 years' experience in a professional environment; preferably Treasury, Finance or Banking;
• Good computer literacy, particularly strong competency in Excel;
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. Able to communicate with all levels both inside and outside the business;
• Ability to operate as a role model, inspiring integrity, honesty, respect and open communication;
• Ability to gain and maintain the trust and respect of peers across the Group;
• Strong problem solving skills and ability to come to rational and well-thought out conclusions;
• Proven record of ability to work to tight deadlines;
• Thorough and meticulous with extreme attention to detail;
• Independent self-starter with ability to identify and implement changes to systems and procedures;
• Assertive, good team worker with strong professional work ethic; and
• Willingness to travel as required
