Our client operates a fleet of brand-new, modern LGV1&2 vehicles equipped with fridges, cruise control with new vehicles being added constantly. Recognised as an industry leader, they hold certifications including ISO9001, 14001 & 45001, as well as FORS Silver, Alcumus SafeContractor, CHAS & Constructionline.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing, forward-thinking company with real prospects for development.
The Role:
1. Deliver non-potable water & collect sewerage across the region
2. Operate modern Euro 6 vehicles using GB Domestic hours logbooks
3. Use tablets to log vehicle checks, receive work tickets, record defects & report issues
4. Initial duties will focus on sludge jobs & overpumping (training provided)
5. Guaranteed 10-hour shifts (with opportunity for extra hours, nights & weekends)
6. Full training provided, with potential to gain role-specific courses such as jetting, confined spaces, traffic management
7. Potential progression into a permanent role

8. £19.00 per hour (Ltd or Umbrella, IR35 exempt)
9. Guaranteed 10 hours pay per shift

Essential Requirements:
14. Full LGV 2 (Category C) licence with at least 6 months’ experience
15. In-date CPC Card & Digital Tachograph Card
16. Maximum 6 penalty points on licence
17. Good knowledge of Drivers’ Hours (Domestic & EU) & Working Time Directive regulations
18. Confident using technology (tablet-based reporting & scheduling)
19. Physically fit (lifting pipes & equipment required)
20. Professional, polite & able to communicate effectively with clients & the public
21. Flexible approach – work may vary throughout the day
Ideally You Will:
22. Have previous vacuum tanker experience (wastewater industry preferred)
23. Be willing & able to work longer hours when required (all paid)
