Role OverviewWe are seeking a dynamic and flexible Field Support Staff member to join our team. This key role will provide on-the-ground support across our 7 sites, ensuring quality standards are maintained and operational challenges, such as staff-to-child ratios, are effectively managed. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone passionate about childcare and early education who thrives in a fast-paced and varied environment.
Key Responsibilities

* Quality Assurance:
o Support nursery managers and teams to uphold the highest quality standards in care and education.
o Provide feedback and guidance to staff to enhance learning environments and daily practices.
* Ratio Support:
o Assist with staff coverage to ensure compliance with staff-to-child ratios at all sites.
o Step into rooms to support teams during peak times, absences, or emergencies.
* Operational Support:
o Work closely with managers to address immediate operational needs.
o Act as a liaison between nurseries and the central team, communicating challenges and solutions effectively.
* Training and Development:
o Mentor staff to improve practices and maintain consistency across all sites.
o Assist with the onboarding of new team members, ensuring they integrate smoothly into their roles.
* Health and Safety Compliance:
o Monitor and uphold all health and safety policies and procedures.
o Address any compliance issues proactively to maintain a safe and secure environment.
What We’re Looking For:

* A minimum of Level 3 qualification in Early Years or equivalent.
* Experience in a senior childcare role, such as Deputy Manager, Manager, or Area Support.
* Strong knowledge of EYFS and safeguarding procedures.
* A proactive problem-solver who can adapt to different settings and challenges.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across teams.
* Flexibility to travel between sites and work across different locations as needed.
