Buyer – Chesterfield/Hybrid - £35,000 - £40,000
Elevation Recruitment Group are proud to be supporting a well-established global manufacturer in Chesterfield who are looking to recruit a Buyer to join their team.
This role will suit someone who comes from a manufacturing background and has previous procurement experience within a technical environment.
Working Hours & Benefits
* 8am - 5pm (Mon-Thur) & a 12pm finish on a Friday! – Flexi time available

The role
As the Purchasing Coordinator, you will support the smooth flow of materials and components into the business. Key responsibilities include.
* Processing accurate and timely purchase orders
* Monitoring supplier performance and raising issues where needed
* Improving quote and order turnaround times
* Supporting the development of procurement processes and standard ways of working
* Resolving discrepancies quickly to protect production and customer delivery
* Maintaining accurate documentation and reporting
The person
* Experience in procurement or supply chain within a manufacturing environment
* Clear communication skills and the ability to work with engineering, production and finance teams
* Analytical thinking with an interest in cost control and efficiency
* The ability to build positive relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
