Due to an increase in projects won my client, an established and highly successful design firm that provides fully integrated end-to-end services, is looking to expand its team with an Associate Director of Interior Design for their Kuwait office.
As an Associate Director of Interior Design, you will have the opportunity to work on a broad range and scale of projects from ideas through to delivery. In addition, to being a thoughtful leader who can motivate and develop teams.
This position will see the successful individual based from my client's head office but working across the wider GCC overseeing ID projects and working closely with the Interior Design Director - therefore, regular travel is required for this position.

Associate Director ESSENTIALS requirements:
8. 20+ years’ experience as an Interior Designer with Corporate Workplace, Commerical / Retail or Hospitality project background
9. 10+ years' experience managing / overseeing a team
10. Bachelor’s degree in interior design, architecture or equivalent
11. Ability to lead design meetings and technical reviews
12. Experience taking projects from inception to completion
13. Proficiency in the use of Revit and other 3D BIM computer design programs
14. Fluent in both written and spoken English
15. Exposure to projects with a focus on LEED and WELL sustainable goals
16. Strong knowledge of FF&E in commercial interiors, hospitality or corporate workplaces
Associate Director DESIRABLE requirements:
17. Middle East work experience
18. LEED AP Accreditation
19. WELL Certification
20. IIDA Membership
21. RIBA / AIA or equivalent
22. Good knowledge of Lumion, Vray, Grasshopper, Sketch Up and InDesign.
23. Arabic speaking
