Overview
Retail Supervisor role at Travis Perkins plc (Toolstation). 6 months Fixed Term Contract. 40 hours per week. Toolstation is developing talent to grow with the business.
What You'll Do
You'll be the face of Toolstation, making a fantastic first impression, building long-lasting relationships and going above and beyond to make our customers happy. This isn’t just a store job. As a retail supervisor you'll serve customers and support the Store Manager, but you'll also check deliveries, pick items from the warehouse and stock shelves. It can be hot in the summer and cold in the winter, but if you take pride in what you and the team do, customers will notice and love us for it.
* Supporting. Stand in for the Store Manager in their absence, motivate and engage the team, and coach the team to grow sales and achieve targets.
* Mucking in. Check and unpack deliveries, stock shelves, clean the branch and put orders together.
* Delivering great service. Provide a great customer experience with a smile, and coach the team to do the same.
* Asking questions and building relationships. Ensure customers leave the branch with everything they need for the job.
* Building a fun working environment. Maintain product availability and branch standards, and make the branch a place everyone loves to work.
