We have a great opportunity available to join Novus, our prison educationprovider at HMP Five Wells, as our Barbering Teacher. This position is offered ona permanent, full-time basis, working 37 hours per week. You will be delivering aLevel 1 Barbering qualification to groups of up to 15 learners.

HMP Five Wells is a Category C prison that is based in Wellingborough. Built in 2022, and costing £253m, this state of the art prison accommodates a male prison population. To be successful in this role, you will need to
* Teaching qualification and where applicable, relevant subject specialist qualification - with a commitment to obtain the outstanding qualification within 12 months.
* Level 2 qualification in Literacy and Numeracy.
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)/ Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS) or commit to work towards within a specified timeframe.
