Supply Chain Coordinator

OA are delighted to be recruiting for a Supply Chain Coordinator to join one of our clients’ highly successful and fast-growing businesses.

You will report to the Supply Chain & License Manager, and work closely with the Commercial Directors, and Logistics Team to ensure the smooth running of the supply chain process from start to finish. We are looking for somebody who is eager to join a busy team in a fast-moving business.

Location: Turnford, Broxbourne

Hours: 09.00 – 5.30 Monday - Friday. 1 years fixed term contract. Working at Turnford fully until probation passed at 6 months, then the opportunity to work from home 2 days per week.

Salary: £30,000-£32,000 – depending on experience

Supply Chain Coordinator Responsibilities

4. Processing new contracts received from Commercial colleagues
5. Buying foreign currency and allocating currency against supplier invoices
6. Adding contracts to the system/sending order confirmations to customers and suppliers
7. Planning production with the supplier
8. Liaising with the supplier and customers
9. Tracking orders of products from shipment to delivery
10. Sending regular update to customers
11. Raising letters of credit for supplier’s weekly
12. Track new products
13. Produce weekly stock reports
14. Update Arrival V licence sheet & clear bond action
15. Sending customer invoices
16. Stock forecasting
17. Work with other teams within the business to ensure a cohesive approach
18. Monitoring usage of import licences, tracking imports into the UK and administering licence invoices.
19. General administration and office support

Supply Chain Coordinator Skills

20. Has 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role
21. Has high accuracy and attention to detail (crucial)
22. Somebody with an analytical mindset and strong organisational and verbal and written communication skills
23. Excellent customer service skills
24. Has a problem-solving attitude
25. Has the ability to multitask effectively and enjoys working with numbers
26. Be competent in use of Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint
27. Must have excellent Excel skills, advanced (will be working with multiple linked spreadsheets daily)
28. Must be flexible
29. Is proactive, with the ability to work using own initiative
30. Has the ability to work in a team
31. Has a Driving licence
