As a core business unit within Goldman Sachs, Liquidity Solutions provides investment services for a very broad spectrum of clients, spanning money markets and short duration fixed income strategies, across currencies. Our clients include corporates, pension plans, alternative investment managers, sovereign wealth funds, insurance companies, financial advisors, family offices, and individuals.

Liquidity Solutions is seeking an Analyst to join the London-based International Client Portfolio Management team. The individual will become an integral part of the team, partnering closely with our money market and short duration fixed income investing teams and Sales people. The team is responsible for originating, developing and closing growth opportunities in partnership with Sales and portfolio management through providing product expertise, market insights and structuring investment solutions for existing and prospective clients, producing insightful market updates and other written content, and product strategy responsibilities including competitive analysis.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

1. Contribute to revenue growth over time through:
2. Acting as an expert resource focused on Money Market Funds for Sales teams across all client channels
3. Production of high quality content for clients including regular publications, market updates, product spotlights, ad hoc pieces
4. Proactively identifying opportunities to grow revenues in partnership with Sales
5. Representing the Liquidity business over time through delivery of a high volume of market and product updates and insights internally and to clients
6. Contributing to the structuring and capital formation process for new fund launches
7. Coordinating RFP responses as required from a product specialist perspective
8. Deliver internal education and analysis
9. Develop a strong internal network across Sales channels to grow mindshare and expand knowledge of our solutions
10. Product strategy for MMF solutions. market analysis, new product evaluation, fund launches, share class analysis & evolution
11. Monitor and communicate key regulatory developments for MMFs, including market and strategy implications
12. Provide market intelligence & competitive analysis
13. Maintain and evolve KPI metrics individually and for the team
14. Support senior members of the team and senior management as required
15. Opportunities to travel extensively throughout EMEA & APAC regions expected over time

Qualifications:

16. Outstanding ability to communicate with impact in individual and group settings, virtually and in person
17. Proven interest and experience in fixed income markets; money markets experience is advantageous
18. Proven analytical and organizational skills including meticulous attention to detail
19. Excellent, demonstrable writing skills; experience in financial writing is advantageous
20. Outstanding ability to build and maintain professional relationships
21. High energy, self motivated, ability to excel in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing priorities
22. Positive and flexible mindset, highly entrepreneurial and ambitious personality
23. Interest in international affairs and travel is strongly preferred
24. Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications including Excel, Powerpoint
