Key Responsibilities
* Conduct culturally sensitive assessments for new clients and families, creating a welcoming environment for diverse backgrounds.
* Provide outpatient individual and family therapy tailored to each client's needs.
* Develop crisis, safety, relapse prevention, and wellness plans to support clients' mental health journeys.
* Participate in case consultations, agency meetings, and discharge planning to enhance client care.
* Complete billing, documentation, treatment plans, and insurance forms promptly, maintaining professional standards.
* Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, dietitians, staff, and other therapists for holistic care.
Qualifications
* Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Counseling, or related field.
* Provisional license if required by state regulation.
* Background leading to or resulting in professional licensing.
* Passion for mental health and high-quality care.
* Commitment to ongoing professional development, including supervision and continuing education.
* Strong teamwork, ethical practice, confidentiality, communication skills, and rapport-building abilities.
* Effective time management and administrative skills.
* Proficiency in Spanish or Portuguese is preferred.
