Role Overview
You will work within an integrated model of care to provide timely assessments, rehabilitation, and support with discharge planning for our patients. In this role you will be part of the Integrated Therapy team within the specialties of surgery, medicine or orthopaedics.
Responsibilities
* Provide interventions for a delegated caseload of patients, under the support and supervision of a qualified therapist.
* Perform administrative and stock control duties as requested to support Integrated Therapy services.
* Assist with discharge planning and rehabilitation activities.
* Apply evidence‑based practice, participate in joint working, service development and continuing professional development.
* Adapt to working with a range of patients and environments, including weekends, public/bank holidays, and additional hours if required.
* Contribute to innovative ideas on clinical pathways and drive forward excellence.
Qualifications & Skills
* Ability to work well as part of a team and collaborate effectively.
* Willingness to adopt flexible working patterns, including weekends and public/bank holidays.
* Good communication and organisational skills.
* Background in therapy assistant or relevant healthcare role preferred.
