Key Responsibilities
* Carrying out stretch forming of aircraft sheet metal components to exact specifications
* Marking out, cutting, and forming materials accurately in line with engineering requirements
* Working confidently from engineering drawings, templates, and detailed work instructions
* Using a range of hand tools and mechanical aids, including presses and forming equipment
* Ensuring all completed work consistently meets strict quality and safety standards
* Maintaining a clean, compliant, and well-controlled working environment at all times
Requirements
* Time-served apprenticeship in Sheet Metal Work or a closely related discipline
* Previous experience within aerospace manufacturing is preferred
* Strong, practical understanding of sheet metal forming processes and techniques
* Ability to accurately interpret and work from engineering drawings and technical documentation
* High attention to detail, with a focus on producing consistent, high-quality workmanship
