The role of team leader involves being a practice lead, and to manage and supervise a team to perform their roles safely and to provide services in accordance with standards and legislation and think local act personal framework (TLAP) In addition, you will oversee the development and implementation of care plans that are designed to provide meaningful choice and support to those in need of care, so they can access services to help them lead the life they want. We are looking for a Team Leader who will instil a culture of continuous workforce development through induction, probation, supervision and appraisal, as well as working in partnership with other professionals to ensure customers receive support which is designed to meet their needs. You will be able to demonstrate leadership ability, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required in this role. You should have experience of supporting customers within the social care sector, and either hold (or could achieve) Level 3 QCF Health and Social Care or equivalent.
