Are you a Reliability & Failure Analysis Engineer looking for a 4-day working week position based in Middlesex? The Reliability & Failure Analysis Engineer role involves conducting failure analysis and ensuring product reliability to enhance performance and longevity. This position is highly rewarding and impactful within a fast-developing company.
This position offers a 4-day week - 34.5 hours per week!
Responsibilities include:
1. Conduct detailed investigations to understand the failure of products, components, or systems.
2. Design and conduct tests to assess the reliability of products and systems under various conditions.
3. Utilize reliability statistical tools and methods to analyze failure data and trends, predicting future failures.
4. Develop, propose, and implement solutions to prevent failures and extend product life.
5. Maintain records of failure analysis, data trends, and tests to support product or system enhancements.
6. Provide input on design for reliability (DFR) principles to the R&D team to ensure robustness in product development.
7. Contribute to ongoing improvement initiatives to enhance product and process quality.
8. Collaborate closely with design, manufacturing, service, and quality teams to implement design modifications and process improvements that enhance reliability.
Candidate Requirements:
* A degree in Engineering (or related field) / HNC/HND and at least 5 years of relevant experience.
* Proficiency with analytical tools, reliability techniques, and testing.
* Knowledge of Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and Reliability Block Diagrams (RBD).
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
