Role Overview
The Site Supervisor plays a key role in overseeing security personnel and managing day‑to‑day operational issues related to the contract during assigned shifts. This Site Supervisor position acts as a central point of contact for service delivery, performance monitoring, and reporting. The Site Supervisor ensures a strong partnership between the client and the company by delivering consistent operational supervision, promoting high standards of professionalism, and upholding the company values of Integrity, Vigilance, and Helpfulness on a 24/7 basis.
Core Requirements
* Prior experience working within a control room environment, ideally at a supervisory level
* Good telephone manner with clear, professional communication skills
* Computer literate with strong working knowledge of relevant systems
* MUST hold a valid SIA Licence and CCTV Licence
Responsibilities
* Personnel Supervision
* Ensure all staff have completed site training and hold valid SIA or LDN licences
* Manage accurate rostering and maintain staffing levels for all shifts
* Hold monthly performance check‑ins and provide coaching where required
* Support and conduct investigations in line with company procedures
* Monitor professional standards, behaviour, and appearance, taking action when needed
* Promote recognition, commendations, and ongoing performance feedback
* Maintain accurate assignment instructions and site documentation
* Report incidents promptly and escalates according to company and client policies
* Support management with improving service delivery tools and processes
* Maintain strong communication with customers, ensuring expectations are met
* Build positive client relationships through consistent updates and issue resolution
* Deliver staff training including onboarding, refreshers, and scenario‑based sessions
* Encourage continuous learning, identify skill gaps, and support staff development
* Report site faults promptly and support timely resolution
* Operate and monitor security equipment including access control, CCTV, intruder, and fire systems
* Ensure all operational duties meet site requirements and legislative standards
Qualifications & Experience
* Prior experience working within a control room environment, ideally at a supervisory level
* Good telephone manner with clear, professional communication skills
* Computer literate with strong working knowledge of relevant systems
* MUST hold a valid SIA Licence and CCTV Licence
* Flexibility to work days, nights, and weekends
* The right to work in the UK, with a 5‑year checkable history
* Strong communication skills in English—both written and spoken
