Location: Bryn Mawr Industrial Estate, Pinfold Ln, Alltami, Mold CH7 6NZ
Hours: Full-time expected 45 to 50 hours a week
Days: Monday to Friday at the address; no hybrid working
Contract: Permanent
Salary: Competitive (based on experience)
We are currently recruiting for a Document Controller who will be responsible for turning important information produced by technical teams and department representatives into usable files. You will work with electronic and hard copy documents.
Responsibilities
* Creating document templates
* Converting information from project teams into user-friendly documents
* Numbering and labelling documents for identification and reference
* Scanning, copying and distributing documents to project team members and stakeholders
* Tracking documents to maintain confidentiality
* Reviewing documents and making revisions for accuracy
* Liaising with project team members to ensure documents meet requirements
* Training document specialists and other employees on document systems
Requirements
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office software, especially Word, Excel and Outlook or similar programmes
* Understanding of document control systems such as ASITE, BIW or 4projects
* Verbal and written communication skills
* Clear and efficient numbering and labelling skills
* Typing accuracy and efficiency
* Attention to detail to ensure documents are accurate and made to specifications
* Filing and organisation skills for document storage
* Industry-specific technical knowledge, including understanding of industry terms, policies and processes
Experience working on the Hinkley Project would be beneficial.
