Growing restaurant is looking for a Head Chef to join its busy city centre restaurant.
Location: Liverpool
Salary: 35k plus tronc
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the kitchen including maintaining exceptional food quality and consistency, adhering to standards and developing a highly engaged and motivated kitchen team.
Responsibilities:
Overseeing all aspects of kitchen operation including food safety, health and safety, COSSH and HACCP procedures.
Ensuring customers receive exceptional quality food in line with brand standards and that this is delivered in a timely manner
Managing kitchen team, including hiring and training staff, organizing rotas, and ensuring that all staff members adhere to the restaurant's policies and procedures.
Monitoring kitchen targets on labour, wastage, and stocks.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Head Chef or Kitchen Manager in a high-volume establishment
Efficient and effective leadership with excellent and clear communication skills
Commercially savvy with knowledge of key kitchen KPIs
