Autism Support Assistant\n\n£95-105 per day\n\nImmediate Start\n\nQualiteach Yorkshire are looking for an experienced Autism Support Assistant for a specialist school in Leeds LS9 for children with moderate and complex learning needs. The setting is an SEN school catering for primary and secondary age pupils in smaller class sizes, who are looking for someone with a range of experience to join their team ASAP.\n\nThe Role:\n\n * Working with children on a 1:1 and group basis who have a variety of needs, tailoring learning to suit them\n\n * Working within a team and helping to build a comfortable environment for all children and staff\n\n * Following care plans, EHCP’s, Pupil Passports and other relevant documents\n\n * Being comfortable with personal care is advantageous\n\n * Supporting a fantastic curriculum using a holistic approach within a multi-disciplinary team\n\nWhat you will need:\n\n * Experience of working with children who have complex needs\n\n * A willingness to ‘jump in’ and help where necessary\n\n * Being competent in helping to prepare the pupils for becoming ready for adulthood through being a positive role model and influence\n\n * The ability to support challenging behaviour, encourage independence and follow the values of the school\n\nWhat we offer:\n\nWhen you work with Qualiteach, you will have access to a range of expertise and advice as...
