Banstead Infant School is seeking a dedicated 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant who has a passion for supporting young people, helping to enhance their learning, and nurture their social and emotional development.

Your opportunity

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our welcoming and supportive team as a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant. Our school has a passion and understanding of what effective learning is, and we help to inspire our pupils to be the best they can be. What we are looking for:

1. Be dynamic, enthusiastic and motivated
2. Be able to develop positive relationships with young children
3. Be able to stay calm and objective when presented with unusual or challenging behaviour
4. Have experience of working with children with SEN
5. Be enthusiastic and committed to working as part of a team
6. Be a confident and clear communicator with parents
7. Have GCSE Maths and English Grade C or above

The Details

Start Date: ASAP

Hours: 26.65hrs a week - Monday - Friday 8.50am – 3.20pm (Term-time 38.6 weeks)

Salary: GLF Associate 2.1 £23,651 FTE

Pro-rata Salary: £14,907.81

Contract Type: FTC until 31st August 2026

Closing Date: Friday 21st November at 9.30am

Interview Date: TBC
