To manage a number of technical service areas which fall within the Revenue budget spend and assume responsibilities for the teams undertaking Structures Routine and Rights of Way maintenance and repair, generally specialist in nature.
What you'll be doing
As a Structures and Rights of Way Supervisor you have the following accountabilities:
1. Embedding a culture of Zero Harm
2. Ensure compliance with all statutory and company procedures across all the functions, H & S specifically
3. Responsible for liaison with the clients to understand advance programme and works required to be delivered within any financial year
4. Client management to provide routine and timely programme and updates to works scheduled
5. Management of effective resources to meet the workload demand, ensuring that resources are utilised in line with the programme of works
6. Liaison with sub-contractors to cascade scope of works, obtain sufficient resources for delivery
7. Production of works programmes and end to end management of programmed works.
Who we're looking for
You will have the following:
8. Experience of working on a Highways Maintenance Contract
9. Detailed operational knowledge
10. Basic Knowledge of structures terms and functions
11. Understanding of emergency and winter service operations (NVQ Qualification)
12. Good level of Business Acumen
13. Good interpersonal skills; communication, can provide clear direction,
14. Excellent organisational skills.
