Our client in the Information Technology and Services industry is looking for a SAP Data Migration Consultant to support end to end data migration activities across key business functions within SAP environments. The role focuses on executing data migration processes using SAP Data Services and SAP Migration Cockpit while ensuring data quality, integrity, and accuracy during transformation and loading activities. This position requires strong collaboration with business and functional teams to gather data requirements, perform validation and reconciliation tasks, and support critical migration events such as dress rehearsals and cutover phases.
What you will do:
* Execute end to end SAP data migration activities using SAP Data Services (BODS) and SAP Migration Cockpit.
* Migrate and load data into SAP across functional areas including Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, and Totex.
* Collaborate with business and functional teams to understand data requirements and ensure high quality data loads.
* Perform data validation, cleansing, transformation, and reconciliation for assigned migration objects.
* Take ownership of assigned migration objects and deliver them with accuracy and accountability.
* Support dress rehearsal activities and cutover phases by executing relevant data loads and resolving migration issues.
* Identify and troubleshoot data related issues during migration activities.
* Ensure data integrity and consistency across extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
Qualifications
* Proven experience delivering SAP data migration projects using SAP Data Services and SAP Migration Cockpit.
* Strong hands on experience with data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
* Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve data related issues independently or in collaboration with functional teams.
* Experience performing data validation, cleansing, transformation, and reconciliation during migration cycles.
* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Ability to work independently, take ownership of assigned tasks, and quickly adapt within active project environments.
