The SRE Team Our site reliability engineers (SREs) empower users with robust features, high availability, and stellar performance to achieve their goals. About the role This is a hands-on role within the Software Engineering team. You will manage the SRE function daily, working closely with the Head of Engineering to provide SRE expertise and collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop effective solutions and positive user experiences. The successful candidate will review, lead, and drive our strategic approach to enhancing the maturity, security, performance, and scalability of our software and services across our cloud infrastructure. You will have significant autonomy to shape the team's future direction, leveraging your extensive background and skills in: Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, Infrastructure, and Platform management Development and deployment of APIs using containerized environments such as Kubernetes Designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines Implementing and enhancing Infrastructure as Code (IaC), specifically Terraform Collaborating with business stakeholders in an agile environment Leading, coaching, and mentoring team members Working with AWS services, particularly IAM, S3, EKS, Networking Using CloudFormation and CDK Exposure to serverless computing
