Based in Highbridge, Somerset, we combine quality product design with fast, reliable delivery across the UK. We're looking for a results-driven Digital Marketing Manager to elevate our paid advertising strategy through Google (Search, Shopping), Bing platforms and LinkedIn.
The Role:
You will lead and execute our paid search strategy, planning, implementing, and optimising campaigns across Google Ads (including Shopping & PPC) and Microsoft Advertising (formerly Bing Ads). Your focus will be on driving high-converting traffic, maximising ROI, and contributing to continuing and increasing business growth.
Role Overview:
Campaign Strategy & Execution
* Plan, create, and manage PPC and Shopping campaigns across Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising and LinkedIn.
* Conduct thorough keyword research, audience targeting, and bid management to improve performance and ROI.
Optimization & Performance Management
* Monitor campaign KPIs (COS, CTR, CPC, CPA, ROAS, Quality Score), run A/B tests, refine ad copy, and adjust budgets to improve results.
* Implement continuous testing of creatives, messages, and targeting for higher conversion rates.
Analytics & Reporting
* Track and report on campaign performance using Google Analytics, Ads dashboards, and similar tools.
* Use insights to inform strategy, optimize campaigns, and report outcomes clearly to management.
Budget & Collaboration
* Allocate and oversee advertising spend to maximise ROI and align with company objectives.
* Work closely with product, creative, and web teams to optimise landing pages and ad creative.
Required Qualifications:
Experience & Skills
* Minimum 2–5 years managing paid advertising campaigns, particularly Google Ads (Search/PPC/Shopping), Bing Ads and LinkedIn.
* Strong analytical mindset with ability to extract actionable insights from complex data sets.
* Proven track record of delivering measurable improvements in performance metrics like ROAS and conversion rates.
* Experience conducting keyword research, bid management, A/B testing, and writing compelling ad copy.
* Proficiency with analytics/reporting tools: Google Analytics, Ads platforms, Excel, etc.
Certifications & Knowledge
* Google Ads certification; Microsoft Advertising (Bing Ads) certification would be advantageous.
* Familiarity with SEO, SEM, paid media best practices and current digital marketing trends.
Education & Experience
* Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a relevant discipline - or equivalent experience.
Soft Skills
* Excellent communication skills to present insights and collaborate with stakeholders effectively.
* Strong project management skills with ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable (Preferred):
* Prior experience in retail or e-commerce, especially in office furniture or workplace products.
* Familiarity with ecommerce platforms (e.g., WooCommerce) and conversion rate optimisation technology.
* Experience working in a smaller, agile business where quick pivots and multi-role contributions are valued.
