Looking for a role where you can take clinical responsibility and lead care that genuinely supports recovery? As an Experienced Nurse with Rushcliffe Care Group, you will deliver high-quality nursing care while supporting and guiding the wider team to maintain safe, effective, and person-centred practice.
About Rushcliffe Care Group
You will be joining Rushcliffe Care, a company with over 35 years of experience in offering the highest levels of care to our most vulnerable in society. Across our services, we support people to live safer, more fulfilling lives, with dignity, choice, and consistency at the centre of everything we do.
Our work is guided by clear values. These are not slogans. They shape how we treat people, how we work together, and what we expect from each other.
About the Role
As an Experienced Nurse, you will take responsibility for delivering and overseeing high-quality nursing care within the ward environment. You will work as part of the multidisciplinary team, contributing to assessment, care planning, and the ongoing evaluation of service users’ needs.
You will play a key role in ensuring care is safe, effective, and aligned with best practice and regulatory standards. This includes maintaining accurate clinical records, supporting junior staff, and ensuring that care plans are implemented consistently.
You will be expected to take a proactive approach to risk management, clinical decision-making, and escalation of concerns. The role involves direct clinical work alongside leadership responsibilities, including supporting shift coordination and contributing to the overall running of the ward.
The role requires resilience, sound judgement, and the ability to work in an environment where behaviours can be complex or challenging.
About You
You are a registered nurse (RMN, RNLD, or RGN with relevant mental health experience) with a valid NMC registration.
You have experience working within a mental health, acute, or PICU setting and are confident managing clinical situations independently while contributing to a wider team.
You are calm under pressure, organised, and able to make clear decisions in complex situations. You understand the importance of accountability, professional standards, and maintaining clear boundaries.
You communicate effectively, keep accurate and timely records, and are confident supporting and guiding less experienced staff.
