Addison Project Plc is seeking a contractor to provide Electrical Design services for a period of 12 months based in our Middlesbrough office.
Workscope
* Electrical Design, including cables and supports
* Design of electrical (LV) supplies and switchgear
* Design / Specification of MCC and Layout
* Preparation of block diagrams, termination diagrams, instrument loop diagrams, earthing diagrams, DB SLD’s.
* Preparation of I/O & cable schedules
* Verification & checking of documentation & drawings
* Communication with Addison Project internal multidiscipline teams
* Site meetings and surveys
Person Specification
* You must possess suitable and relevant qualifications within EC&I, minimum of an HNC preferably a degree.
* Experience completing electrical or control and instrumentation design.
* It is essential that you have experience of electrical design with respect to MMC, LV distribution, lighting and earthing preferably within the Chemical, Petrochemical, and/or Oil and Gas sector.
* A good working knowledge of ATEX Directives for selection and installation of control and electrical equipment in Hazardous Areas would be beneficial.
* You must have experience attending and representing at Project Meetings with a range of stakeholders.
* Appreciation of cable calculations.
