We provide enhanced rates of pay for unsocial hours, ensuring you are well-compensated for your hard work and dedication. Candidates MUST have a valid SIA Door Supervisor license to be considered for this role, however, if you have experience in the military, police or prison custody we can provide the relevant SIA Door Supervisor training. You also need to have a full UK driving license and access to your own car. Job Details Position: Security Officer Location: Required to cover Hospitals in Birmingham, Solihull & Sutton Coldfield Pay Rate: £12.36 per hour Nights and Saturday: £17.43 Sundays and Bank Holidays: £22.62 Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Shifts: Days, Nights, and Weekends Enhanced Rates of Pay: Weekdays (8pm - 6am) and Saturdays: Time plus 41% Sundays and Public Holidays: Time plus 83% Your Time at Work As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for securing three NHS hospitals across Birmingham, Sutton Coldfield & Solihull. You will: - Work as part of a team to manage security across different sites - Utilise keen conflict management skills to de-escalate incidents - Interact with staff and the public, ensuring adherence to security protocols - Patrol premises, monitor car parks, and assist with emergency situations - Conduct searches and monitor CCTV cameras - Liaise with internal security teams and emergency services when necessary Applications will only be considered with a fully updated CV.
