A prestigious Legal 500 firm with an award-winning Corporate Commercial team is seeking a Senior Corporate Commercial Solicitor or Partner to join them in their busy Eastbourne office. This role involves mentoring and leadership responsibilities within a well-established team supported by junior lawyers and administrative staff. The successful Corporate Commercial Solicitor will be responsible for a varied case load to include:Key Responsibilities:
o Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A)
o Management buy-outs and buy-ins
o Private equity investments
o Corporate governance
o Administration sales/purchases
o Corporate restructuring
o Shareholders’ agreements
o Joint ventures
o IT licensing, support, and maintenance agreements
o Terms and conditions of business
o Agency and distribution agreements
o Bespoke commercial contracts
o Intellectual Property agreements/contracts/licenses (excluding trademarks or patent applications)
The successful Corporate Commercial Solicitor will offer the following skillset/background:Required Qualifications/Skills:
* Experience: 4+ years PQE in corporate and/or commercial law from a quality law firm
* Skills: Strong technical skills in line with experience, commercial awareness, excellent communication, and ideally some leadership or mentoring experience
