We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for a Band 4 Neonatal Nursery Nurse to join our dedicated and compassionate neonatal team on a 9‑month fixed‑term maternity cover contract.
This role is ideal for a motivated and caring individual who is passionate about supporting premature and unwell newborns, while working closely with families during a highly sensitive time.
You will be part of a supportive multidisciplinary team committed to delivering high‑quality, family‑centred care within a busy and rewarding clinical environment.

Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust provides both emergency and planned healthcare across East Surrey, North‑East West Sussex, and South Croydon. Our main hospital, East Surrey Hospital in Redhill, offers a full range of acute and specialist services and is the closest trauma unit to Gatwick Airport. Employment Details
Band: 4.
Contract: 9‑month fixed‑term maternity cover.
Pay: First pay step within the band on start. Pay progression according to NHS Agenda for Change. Part‑time roles receive a pro‑rated salary.
We operate a 24‑hour service, 365 days a year; roles may involve working on a 24/7 shift basis unless otherwise specified.
