Senior Quantity Surveyor Civil & Electrical Infrastructure Location: Basingstoke Salary: £65,000 £80,000 benefits (depending on experience) A leading civil engineering and infrastructure contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding team on a long-term framework in the power and utilities sector. The Role: As a Senior QS, youll take commercial ownership of key projects managing cost control, forecasting, subcontractor management, and contractual administration under the NEC form of contract. Youll work closely with delivery teams, clients, and project managers to ensure commercial success and smooth project execution. Key Responsibilities: Oversee and manage all commercial aspects of projects from tender to completion. Administer NEC contracts and ensure compliance with commercial processes. Manage subcontract procurement, payments, and variations. Produce accurate cost reports, forecasts, and valuations. Build strong working relationships with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders. About You: Experienced Quantity Surveyor or Senior QS within civil engineering, utilities, or electrical infrastructure. Ideally degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline. Strong working knowledge of NEC contracts. Background in electrical infrastructure is desirable, but general civils experience will also be considered. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
