32.5 hrs. per week, term time only + 5 PL Days
Grade H (NJC points 14 – 17) actual salary £21,722 to £22,812 (pay award pending)
Horizons Specialist Academy Trust consists of eight Academies and one-Sixth Form across the Tees Valley and North Yorkshire area serving a population in excess of 1000 students with a broad range of learning difficulties.
Green Gates Academy is situated in Stockton and provides for approximately 50 pupils ranging from Year 1 to Year 6. All pupils have an Education Health and Care Plan due to their social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH).
We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic teaching assistant to join our team at Green Gates Academy. The right candidate will need to be inspirational with high expectations of our children and themselves.
Previous experience of working with students with SEMH is desirable but not essential. Good communication and interpersonal skills are essential requirements of this post.
