This role focuses on helping children and their mothers recover from the impact of domestic abuse through one-to-one sessions, group work, play-based activities, and family support.You'll be working closely with support staff, local agencies, and the wider family unit to ensure every child's voice is heard and their individual needs are understood and met.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide direct emotional and practical support to children and young people in refugeCarry out risk and therapeutic assessments, and create tailored support plansDeliver structured one-to-one and group sessions using creative and play-based approachesSupport family relationships and work with mothers on parenting strategiesAdvocate for children and young people in relation to education, health, and safeguardingPlan and deliver engaging activities during school holidays and after school hoursLiaise with external agencies and attend multi-agency meetings when requiredEnsure all safeguarding concerns are appropriately addressed ...
