Cost Accountant – Manufacturing | Leicester

A world-class manufacturing business that produces precision components for global markets is growing their Finance team. They’re looking for a Cost Accountant to work closely with operations and procurement, helping drive cost visibility, control and performance across the site.
The Role
In this hands-on role, you will:
* Analyse material, labour and overhead costs
* Provide margin, variance & manufacturing cost analysis
* Partner with production & supply chain on cost improvements
* Support budgeting, forecasting and stock/inventory valuation
* Strengthen cost controls and accuracy within ERP/MRP systems
What They’re Looking For
* Qualified accountant (ACCA / CIMA)
* Manufacturing or engineering cost accounting experience
* Strong Excel + ERP/MRP knowledge
* Excellent communication skills with confidence to challenge, influence and partner across the site
* Someone who thrives in a fast-paced, on-site operational environment
