We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Year 4 Teacher to join a welcoming Key Stage 2 team on a maternity cover contract beginning November 2025. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire and motivate pupils, delivering high-quality teaching and supporting their academic and personal development.
Duties as Year 4 Teacher:
* Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Year 4 national curriculum.
* Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners.
* Assess and track pupil progress, providing constructive feedback and setting achievable targets.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff and parents to ensure the best outcomes for every child.
* Contribute to wider school life, including extracurricular activities and school events.
Ideal Year 4 Teacher:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Strong understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum and assessment requirements.
* Excellent classroom management and communication skills as a Year 4 Teacher.
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
* Enthusiasm, creativity and a passion for teaching.
