Business Development Manager (Concerto)

Bellrock Technologies seeks a proactive, highly motivated Business Development Manager who thrives as a "hunter," focusing on identifying, formulating, and qualifying new business opportunities. Unlike traditional sales roles, this position is dedicated to generating and nurturing leads, which are then transitioned to our Solutions team for closure.
Your target will be large, strategic clients across sectors such as banking, professional services, legal, pension and investment funds, public sector, healthcare, and organizations with large or complex estates. You will utilize market intelligence, relationship-building skills, and strategic insight to generate opportunities aligned with Bellrock's strengths and growth plans.
This is a critical, highly visible role focused on driving new business opportunities and building a significant pipeline.
How will you be the change?

* Proactively identify, research, and engage prospective clients, effectively positioning Bellrock's capabilities to generate qualified opportunities.
* Qualify and develop leads into actionable opportunities, ensuring alignment with our client profile before transitioning to the Solutions team.
* Leverage a strategic, insight-led approach to identify new clients within targeted sectors.
* Represent Bellrock actively on LinkedIn and other social channels to build your network and enhance our market presence.
* Attend industry events to establish relationships, identify opportunities, and promote our services.
* Use HubSpot CRM to track and report prospect interactions and pipeline status.
* Gather and share market insights to refine targeting strategies.
* Collaborate with Marketing and Solutions teams to articulate our value proposition and nurture opportunities.
* Ensure leads are well-defined and strategically aligned before handover.
* Report pipeline trends and opportunities to senior management, providing insights and recommendations.
What does it take?
If you're ready to energize our business and share in our success, you'll need:
* At least 5 years in a proactive, business development role within software/SaaS or technology solutions.
* A proven track record of generating pipeline value and engaging senior decision-makers.
* Strong prospecting skills and ability to articulate complex solutions to senior stakeholders.
* Sector experience in banking, professional services, healthcare, higher education, transport, or property estates.
* Proficiency with CRM systems, ideally HubSpot.
* Excellent analytical, communication, and qualifying skills.
* A degree or equivalent experience, with excellent communication skills.
* Experience in the built environment or related sectors is a plus.
