Supply Quality Engineer Location: Leicester, UK Working 39 hours per week Monday - Friday Job Summary We are looking for a Supply Quality Engineer to join our team in Leicester. In this role, you will support our supply chain operations and supplier network by enhancing overall supplier performance in terms of quality, delivery, and cost. You will work closely with buyers and the European Supplier Quality & Development (SQ&D) team, reporting directly to the SQ&D EMEAI Manager. Key Responsibilities This role includes, but is not limited to: Implementing and maintaining standard work procedures and business processes at supplier locations. Identifying opportunities for process improvement and standardisation. Evaluating supplier capabilities, capacity, and quality systems. Addressing short-term performance issues using 8D/SCAR and rapid continuous improvement methodologies. Applying Lean principles to improve business processes. Leading Supplier Performance Improvement Plans (S-PIP). Participating in weekly, monthly, and yearly SQ&D EMEAI meetings and projects. Leading and participating in launch readiness programs. Monitoring supplier quality and delivery performance. Managing supplier selection, audits, and approvals.
